Beyonce opened up about the inspiration behind her Ivy Park x Rodeo collection in the Harper’s Bazaar September cover magazine interview. The Ivy Park rodeo collection was inspired by her roots as a child who grew up in Texas.

According to Adidas, ” The “IVY Park Rodeo” collection celebrates the formidable impact of Black men and women on American Western culture. The collection celebrates oft-hidden history of Black pioneers within cowboy and cowgirl culture and their continued influence and impact on the American Rodeo.

As per the interview, Beyonce says ” One of my inspirations came from the overlooked history of the American Black cowboy. “
